‘Cool Clean Giant Rocks’ with Local School Design Competitions

Clean Giant Local School Design Competition

Every year for six years, Clean Giant chooses a local school near their business in Lichfield to take part in a competition to design products and marketing materials for their carpet cleaning business.

The competition includes designs for creating notepads, reminder cards, thank you cards and review / testimonial cards. The children are excited to take part in this fun activity and gain a taster of what is required for running a business including marketing, advertising, graphic design and printing.

The winning design then goes to print and is used by Clean Giant in the day-to-day running of their carpet cleaning business in the community, with many customers appreciating these colourful and meaningful notepads and cards designed by students in their local schools. In addition to the achievement of having a carefully designed product created and used proudly within the community, the winning school student also receives a £25.00 WHSmith gift voucher, and five runners-up receive a £10.00 WHSmith voucher.

The participating school also receives a £50.00 donation from Clean Giant for use in purchasing school equipment and materials.

The benefits of this exciting design competition are all encompassing, with students, schools, local businesses and by extension the community, all playing a part in supporting each other to improve. Of course, all this is only possible with the vital role that you play.
